NAVIGATING AI SYSTEMS INTEGRATION
An introduction to the AI Technology Stack
https://t.co/LM2IPYIL8n
#AI is not only about algorithms and models, but also about the underlying physical infrastructure that makes higher-level abstractions possible.

THE FUTURE of #AI is DECENTRALIZED
Think of the #Cloud as a shared network where data flows and #AI processes run. However, commercial cloud is not the only option. All the hardware and software can be located on your own computer.

A structured introduction to the AI Technology Stack

#AI is not just about algorithms and models, but also about the underlying physical infrastructure that enables these things to function.

Is the orange line longer than any of the red?
@grok@elonmusk#LLMs
Grok: “The perpendiculars from the center to these chords would be equal if the chords were at equal distances from the center, which they are not in this setup.”
Ergo, the answer is yes and not “we can’t definitively say.”

#AI: ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS 2
Chain of thought geometric reasoning
https://t.co/7N4SRsnFwL
To validate the integrity and reproducibility of the expected results, two volunteers successfully completed the exercise embedded in this paper.
The steps are easy to complete. The answer to both questions is yes. None of the #LLMs successfully answered the prompt.
DEEPFAKES: THE NEXT CHALLENGE
#GenAI images look more convincing all the time
https://t.co/8YY911CGx5
Following up on our latest research into AI #deepfake detection, I generated pictures of wild animals using the latest image creation tools from #StableDiffusion, #Meta AI, #OpenAI Dall-E 3, and X #Grok.
These animals look pretty good and you might be more easily fooled when confronted with something you aren’t familiar with. I’ll be taking that challenge on soon.
Next up from the fm lab: More Asking the Right Questions
USING AI TO DETECT AI
The process described in this post does not rely on watermarking, but rather, uses a classic #AI technique which compares photos to deepfakes. Like last time, this experiment ran on a single #GPU isolated from the Internet. This means anyone can do it.

DEEPFAKES: CAN THEY BE DETECTED?
Classic vs Generative Artificial Intelligence
https://t.co/I4d3ZjWiJ8
#Deepfakes. Pictures created by #GenAI. You’ve seen them. They look more and more convincing all the time. We take on the problem by using a convolutional neural network (CNN)
Not tested was the recently announced #OpenAI o1. This new series of models was designed to spend more time processing before they respond, in order to solve harder problems in science, coding and math. Such as the essay in this post.
AI: ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
Chain of thought prompting
https://t.co/Cfcaq6AMwx
The technique of Chain-of-Thought (#CoT) prompting evaluates the ability of an #AI model to break complex problems into a series of logical steps.
CRITICAL THINKING
CoT prompting was applied to two open-source large language models (LLMs) running on a single ##GPU isolated from the Internet. Under these conditions smaller models produced output that is clearly wrong when examined with critical thinking.
