I have seen more than ten AFCON editions as a Super Eagles supporter and watched different generations come and go. I have watched hundreds of players wear the Nigerian shirt. From those who stayed and played 100 times to those who had one and never returned.

And I dare say that this is the most satisfying tournament I’ve watched as a Nigerian in terms of how we have imposed our control on every game. I didn’t see it coming. I bet many didn’t too.

Games with a high rewatch value. Football matches you’ll remember for the beauty it served. Tactically, technically and physically, we’ve bossed every single team we’ve faced. Body Dey sweet me.

I join my voice with other well-meaning Nigerians to ask for the release of Rhoda, a Christian from South Bauchi who was convicted under blasphemy laws for sharing a video and speaking out against the unjust killing of Deborah. It is sad that Deborah's killers walk free, but someone who spoke against it is languishing in prison.

Where is the body of Christ to speak up against it? It is a shame!
