I like building interfaces that don’t sit still.

A 3D Rubik’s cube made of real screenshots of my sites. Twist, solve, unlock the project.

I design it and ship it.

@arushiupmanyu @accio_ai_ @igochi_studio That makes sense. Keeping the motif separate from the finish is what lets the same seed switch. Going to try it.

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

@aaadit_s @lucasmarkes__ That makes sense. The lift on click is the part that doesn't look generated.

@saloniiio Hey! Let's connect!

[Rama Dev @ram4_dev]

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

@ram4_dev Me encantó. ¿Hermes postula solo o te deja revisar antes de mandar? ¿Y le pusiste algún filtro para que no aplique a cualquier cosa, o busca y manda todo?

designing an archive section for my website using @lucasmarkes__ skill
the result is crazy good in first attempt

@HBCoop_ @claudeai Loved this. The figure labels make it feel designed, not just generated: a line, a sphere, a flock, then the full stop.

The clump of birds before they find their shape is the best second.

Looking for great designers!
I'm going on another hiring spree for some startups in my network.

This time, I'm looking for designers based in NYC or SF, open to full-time roles. If that's you, my DMs are open.

The disabled state was the part I kept changing. It has to say why you can't continue, not just sit there grey.

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

Redesigned onboarding for a ticketing app. Five steps, from account to published event. The screens were the easy part.

The first version saved to the database on every step. That left abandoned drafts, and going back could duplicate entries.

Nothing is written until the last button. The draft stays in the browser, so a Mercado Pago redirect doesn't wipe it. A double click returns the same event, not a second one.

I want to review your portfolio.

This Thursday at 1PM Pacific, @ridd_design and I are going to review a few web portfolios from designers.

I'm asking the community for two things:

1. For people involved in hiring decisions: We want to showcase your tips in a pre-recorded Loom video. Please DM me.

2. For people wanting their portfolio reviewed, comment below. I'll be following up with you in a DM with instructions.

If you put your portfolio link in the comments below, it will not count as a suggestion.

Stay tuned!

@y_chiboub That's the version I'd ship. Keeping the partial answer, marking it interrupted, and giving a retry. Deleting it makes the failure feel worse than it was.

Working on a chat UI and the happy path was the easy part.

The problems started when the empty state had nowhere to go. Tool calls came back as text. If the stream failed, the screen just stopped.

Which would you fix first?

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

@buildwithsid Opened the live demo, the wave drag is the best part. Did Opus 5.5 generate the water sim, or mostly the scene while you wired the physics in Three.js?? Curious if the boats are floating on the heightfield or just animated.

[sarah li @sarahli]

something fun i made this weekend

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

This is so clean. Is the anime face a rendered video, or something you have running live / in production that tracks the face in real time?

The blink and head tilt line up really well with the real footage. Curious what you used for the tracking and the style transfer, and whether the hand frame is part of the effect or just the demo.

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

@AdityaSur11 I like how the battery filling over the character makes the wait feel like something is charging, not just spinning. How did you build the animation?

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

@omer_assa Things we used to imagine and plan for weeks (sometimes months) can now be built in a night. AI turned the “wouldn’t it be cool if…” into something real so quickly.

Nice work!

[Ailen Gonzalez | AI + Frontend + Design @Ailegonzalez]

I'd fix the failed stream first. A stopped screen feels broken.
