Madame Celeste Amarilla,
I’ve met some Charismatics who are blissfully unaware about their fear of a lack of control. They mask this fear via affirmations and a suspect understanding of ‘divine leading’. Because to trust God wholly, and fully, knowing that He most likely has a better idea is to relinquish control. And the human ego doesn’t like that. Even though this is unavoidable. True theology teaches us to trust our Father’s wisdom, even when it doesn’t make sense to us. This will often mean that we don’t immediately know what to do, or when to do what to do, or how to do what to do by some divine inspiration. And that state is not being directionless. God is always working, even when it isn’t obvious to us - and it doesn’t have to be - whatever His plans might be, we can peacefully rest knowing it will always be for our ultimate good. Trust Him!
Lord, do not give me anything that will sponsor in me a sense of self-sufficiency and autonomy from You.
Please bind me to You. For Your love and presence are all I have and all my boast.
Saving a seat for you at church @ekoreformedch tomorrow.
We want to see what Christ’s intercessory work does to us and for us.
Are you weary? Come to Christ.
Are you dissatisfied with life? Come to Christ.
He’s our true and only satisfaction.

Hi guys! Paul Washer will be in Lagos and Abuja, speaking about Jesus and the gospel which Christians believe.
If you are not a christian because you have never been impressed by the gospel, come around. You have nothing to lose and you may gain everything.
If you are a christian, come around and be encouraged and renewed by faithful gospel preaching. The fliers below have all the details!
Prayerlessness is a soft rebellion against God.
You do not pray because you’re currently in material ease. You’re deluded into a sense of self-sufficiency and autonomy. You’re where Satan wants you.
But you ought not be at ease unless your soul is daily united with Jesus, your Creator. Like a deer in this desert of a broken world, you should restlessly pant for Him.
One of the things you should be intentional about as a parent is Catechizing your children.
Especially if you were raised Neo-Pentecostal in Nigeria. Because chances are, you have no conception of what it really means to be catechized. (NB This is my experience too).
William Saliba and Gabriel have started 26 gams together so far this season.
They've kept a clean sheet in 15 of those games, a rate of a clean sheet every 1.7 matches 🤯
At the heart of Arsenal's title win was the best defensive pairing in England.
50 + 50 - Aged 24 years and 255 days today, Bukayo Saka is the second youngest player in Premier League history to register both 50+ goals and 50+ assists, behind only Wayne Rooney (24 years, 84 days). Production.
The Bible is surprisingly specific about who should be a pastor, and most of what it says has nothing to do with gifting.
