I love this tool as a way to provide feedback during collaborative planning meetings (or with Ss). We used this during our #PYP#Ib workshop after we designed our action plan to make learning more transdisciplinary. It generated really great conversation and ideas.
The Ladder of Feedback by Project Zero is such a powerful
tool and protocol to structure reflective #thinking, active #listening and honest #dialogue. Educators used it today to #feedback on each other’s action plans but this can be used by and with students.#pyp#thinkingroutine
Concept maps are a great strategy to process big ideas and identify relationships. Participants used them to reflect on their learning from the previous day in our workshop on #Transdisciplinary learning in Vienna. #concepts#learning#connection#thinking
Last day of our VISIBle #PYP#IB workshop “Creating curriculum for transdisciplinary learning” at @VIS_Austria run by @InquiryPlay. Truly inspiring and energizing! The best part is creating an action plan to implement next week, to improve transdisciplinary LEARNING!
Have loved watching student empowerment evolve over the week on redesigning this shared space: floor almost gone, teamwork on fire, students working through recess/lunch and teaching lower grades to do the same. #ATLs on show and culture of trust developing! @UWCThailand
Every morning we take time time to sign our names when we enter the classroom. Even the small things continue to help build a sense of community amongst our learners. #wwa#pyp#community#literacy
“Imagine what schools could be. This generation of young pple needs to solve problems with a level of complexity and magnitude rarely seen over the course of human history.” We must stop imagining and actually start doing. #conceptualunderstanding https://t.co/kMDzMW2Cze
Children are losing their childhood. It’s devastating. When parents asks me what hmwk I will give out, my response is for them to provide time for their child to play, to play WITH their child & to read TOGETHER. For the love and joy of it. Meaningful learning. #advocateforplay
