Charlie once said we should be building two statues for every statue that they tear down. His instinct was always to build, not to destroy.

They thought a bullet would silence my husband’s voice but it only made it louder. They think spray paint can obscure his legacy, but it will only spread it further. Every attempt to tear down what Charlie built makes us root deeper and work even harder.

And if you think crossing out the name of Jesus Christ will silence Christians, history has already proved you wrong. We know what it costs to stand firm for Christ and we will stand anyway. God will not be mocked.

Ridiculous that anyone thinks Erika Kirk has to justify where or how she spent the first year memorial of her husband’s MURDER.

Honestly, I can’t imagine wanting to go to the site where he was killed. But if she did want to, her decision. If she wanted to instead go be with their friends at the RNC and not spend it alone, her decision.

Yesterday was so difficult for me that I asked a friend to just go walk around Hobby Lobby with me and look at the fall decorations just to get out and talk. Criticize me all you want, but whatever.

And as much as I am deeply grieved by the loss of my friend, I’m 1000x less impacted by the loss of Charlie than his OWN FAMILY.

I cannot stand what social media has become: a chorus of irrelevant voices having opinions on things that don’t remotely concern them and demanding the people they’re criticizing answer them. Why? Erika isn’t accountable to you. Or Megyn Kelly. Or Candace. Or any of these fools.

Under consistent 5-point Calvinism, it is entirely possible that Christ did not die for your spouse or children or parents, that God passed them over for election, and that He will never grant them the irresistible regeneration Calvinism says is indispensable to faith. They will remain unable to believe and then be condemned for not believing.

I personally know of a Calvinist husband who regards his own wife and children as non-elect.

Strictly speaking, even Calvinists would say he cannot know that while they are living. Calvinism treats election as God’s hidden decree, and they could theoretically convert later. But the underlying possibility he has accepted is entirely consistent with the system: God may never have intended to save his family or provided an atonement for them at all.

The inverse is also true. If we cannot know we are elect while we are living, how can we possibly be assured of salvation even if we express and experience regeneration?

That is Calvinism removed from the debate stage and seated at the family dinner table.

If you embrace the doctrine, then own its conclusions too. Don’t retreat into euphemisms like “passed over” or accuse critics of caricature when they describe what the system actually practically entails.

Calvinists misrepresent the Provisionist view, claiming that if man must accept Christ, saving faith is a “work” and therefore man is in part responsible for his own salvation.

No. Faith is not the price paid for salvation. It is the empty hand that receives what Christ has already purchased. Accepting a gift does not mean you earned it or bargained for it, and conditioning salvation upon saving faith does not transform grace into works.

@CollinRugg Tesla has limits. If you are driving "hurry" mode, it will go ~9mi over speed limit, if you drive "mad max" it will drive ~15mi over speed limit. If your tesla is driving faster than that, its the driver, not the car.
