This exact thing happened yesterday. This woman came home to braid me and my moms hair, when she was done i gave my mom money to give her, but my mom insisted she will give her food too since it was lunch time already, even tho the food wasn’t cooked with her in mind,
You may call it bragging but honestly i dont mind.
Northerners have a feeling of responsibility to provide food for every person that doesnt only casually work at their home, but even remotely visits.
Security, drivers, cleaners, you name it, if food is ready, all get served.
