This matches what I see building AI for bounded tasks in contact centers.
For bounded work the bar isn't "smartest model", it's "cheapest model that doesn't make mistakes". I know Fable 5.1 is cool and all but it is not relevant to and not affordable for my use-cases
I jumped on the open weights hype and moved my workflow from GPT 5.4 to Qwen. Learnt I had the wrong model for the job, and got my AI bill to $0 in the process.
