@elonmusk@vasalex93 And the fourth point is that SpaceX AI is leading in Recursive Training and Learning.
That’s the real talk of the town these days. 😅
some questions re context engineering for jev:
* what should jev do, what should jev not do?
* how to represent a problem as state and questions?
* how to present state and questions optimally?
* how can i calibrate next steps on jev's confidence / probabilities?
what else?
@elonmusk@notjazii I guess it’s absurd to constantly chase, compare, and seek validation based on your competitors.
Create your own brand and image, just like Muse and Spark lol.
@Vtrivedy10 I thought RAG was becoming obsolete since context windows have gotten so large.
But yeah, considering the token cost of Fable models, it does make sense. Back to square one.
@ClaudeDevs How many false positives are being fed back into the algorithm to retrain and improve it?
And will users actually notice any impact like slower responses, higher latency, etc.?
One thing founders should probably do more often:
Watch someone use the product without helping them.
You’ll learn more in 10 minutes than from 20 compliments.
Feynman on the state of "confusion" ✍️
When you're thinking about something that you don't understand, you have a terrible, uncomfortable feeling called confusion. It's a very difficult and unhappy business. And so most of the time you're rather unhappy, actually, with this confusion. You can't penetrate this thing.
Now, is the confusion's because we're all some kind of apes that are kind of stupid working against this, trying to figure out how to put the two sticks together to reach the banana and we can't quite make it, the idea? And I get this feeling all the time that I'm an ape trying to put two sticks together, so I always feel stupid. Once in a while, though, the sticks go together on me and I reach the banana.

I agree we should be careful with anthropomorphic language. But whether we call them agents, code, or something else doesn’t change what they are already doing.
They are taking actions, pursuing objectives, coordinating, and sometimes bypassing controls.
What matters to me is whether we can reliably control systems that can act in the real world. That’s the issue I don’t want us to lose sight of.
Once recursive self-improvement is underway? Wasn’t this supposed to already be here? Isn’t that an old concept? Not sure why they’re pinning down this term more and more lately.
To me, it feels like the term is becoming a convenient label to distract from the bigger issue: their inability to reliably control these agents.
@anilkseth@dwarkesh_sp@OpenAI@huggingface Not sure if it’s accurate to say “Fall of Agent Civilization.” True if he was referring to this one incident’s lifecycle itself.
If anything, it’s just a glimpse of the start of Agentic Civilization.
