Today at the Castleton Remembrance Sunday service I laid a wreath on behalf of @elsie4hm. It was a moving service followed by laying poppies on the veterans graves in @stmartinscm. It’s a lovely tradition that I was pleased to take my eldest to.

Wheels are in motion to bring an exciting bespoke play area to Castleton, which will see bicycle-themed vibrant floor graphics and multiple play features for younger children.

I was stuck in this today with two small children and absolutely couldn’t fault the staff @LNER not just polite and helpful but offered a patient soundboard to a very panicked mum trying to get home. @DavidHorne @KingsCollegeLon

Here’s why the East Coast main line is closed today between Peterborough and Grantham and our advice to @LNER customers is do not travel.

The @networkrail overhead line teams are working on all four lines repairing the damage caused by last night’s incident. We expect this to take several more hours due to the extent of the damage. Service disruption is expected to continue until the end of today.

If you have a ticket for travel today, you can use it to travel on 11 or 12 December. No need to cancel or rebook. Or you can get a refund from where you bought your ticket. More advice: https://t.co/6yYGHjH5GN. Sorry once again for the disruption this is causing.

Rishi doesn’t get to choose what freedom looks like for everyone. For me, and 1 in 4 households across our borough, LTNs and safe, secure, reliable transport alternatives do give them freedom.
