@LucaAmb@RezabekA I can kinda see how it’s going to be extra work for you probably as students are more likely to not check the references. But something has to be done. However I have to agree that the current 1 year (perma actually) ban is a bit too much and has to be rethought
@LucaAmb@RezabekA one giveaway they mentioned is leaving sentences in your paper like “As an AI language model…” Now that is “not even reading a page”. I really cannot believe we now have to defend reading your paper at least once or using existing and real references…
@LucaAmb@RezabekA this is not a mistake that should be fixed at the step of revision. that hallucinated fake reference shouldn’t even be there. this is not a typo, a referencing style mistake or a type of a revision mistake.
@missyolks@triffin90@octonion I think a lot of value comes just by creating a space for AI generated papers, just because people will generate them anyways. There is not stopping. It is important that they disclose that it is AI generated.
@andrewtanyongyi@tdietterich@arxiv I think they’ll be focusing more on hallucinated references rather than simple referencing mistakes, like in the style etc.
@EMehmetKiral@sislamoglu@memetsimsek valla fikrim yok, benim denediğim konsolosluk sitesinde tamamen girmiyordu, hiçbir şekilde. Vpn açtığım an bağlanıyor, çok saçma zaten niye yurtdışındaki konsolosluğun sitesine tr’den gireyim
