As Chief Minister, he laid the foundations of Kerala’s development model, uniting social justice with economic progress. His vision guides us still.

PM spoke for 1 hour 44 minutes in the Lok Sabha.

To clear all doubts, he only had to say “I condemn the repeated attempts to interfere in our internal affairs by US President Donald Trump. Interference in India’s internal matters is unacceptable.”

He did not.

Gaza is being starved into submission by Israel with the backing of the United States of America. A man-made famine is unfolding before the eyes of the world—engineered through total blockade, denied aid, and the weaponization of hunger. Children are dying of malnutrition, hospitals are without medicine, and entire communities are being decimated. This is not a humanitarian crisis alone—it is a crime against humanity, a brutal strategy of ethnic cleansing masked as war. The global community must open its eyes and ears to the horror that is being inflicted upon the Palestinian people in broad daylight.

India cannot look away. The bond between the Indian and Palestinian people is not new—it is rooted in our shared struggle against colonialism and occupation. From Mahatma Gandhi to Jawaharlal Nehru, India has long recognized the Palestinian cause as a just one. The CPI has been at the forefront at mobilising solidarity for the suffering Palestinian people. We saw their fight as part of the global movement for dignity, self-determination, and freedom. Our historic commitment to Palestine cannot be betrayed.

We urge the Government of India to uphold the our stated position with the just Palestinian cause and to condemn the use of starvation as a weapon of war and to stand firm in defence of international law. Silence is complicity. Let India be remembered not as a bystander, but as a nation that stood on the side of justice when it mattered most.
