India’s IT ministry banned Telegram for one week because some users shared leaked exam questions.
This punishes 150M+ ordinary Telegram users in India — not the insiders who leaked the exam materials.
And the ban hasn't stopped anything. The leaks just moved to other apps.
@ragav_x Cricket's biggest problem is its overdependence on India.
No truly global sport should rely on one country for most of its revenue, audience, and growth.
Even Rugby is growing faster than cricket and is more popular in many countries
@ragav_x I like cricket too, but the comparison makes no sense.
More teams play football. Better stadiums. Better pitches. More premium presentation, from ad boards to broadcast quality.
Cricket is great, but it's nowhere near football in scale or infrastructure.
@ragav_x And football is a sport that keeps growing.
Meanwhile, cricket keeps shrinking itself with poor revenue sharing and no proper global structure. The BCCI seems more interested in a second IPL than expanding the game worldwide.
@saloon_kada I would love that as well.
But why spreading fake news based on last years articles.
It is not going to launch anytime soon as BCCI is not much interested
@CricCrazyJohns Bro mixed franchise hype with world cricket history.
Call them one of the best IPL teams, sure.
But “greatest T20 team ever” needs dominance beyond one league something like a global Champions League, multiple eras or something
Right now it’s: Best IPL squad Yes

@LalitKModi IPL was ahead of its time, but CLT20 came too early.
The world wasn’t ready for franchise cricket beyond IPL back then.
Today, with stronger leagues, global fanbases World Club Championship could become one of cricket’s biggest events.
Right idea. Wrong timing.
