BREAKING: A Syrian billionaire needed U.S. sanctions lifted so he could cash in on $12 billion in reconstruction contracts, per NYT.

In an attempt to influence American foreign policy, he proposed a Trump-branded golf course, cut Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump into a multibillion-dollar real estate deal for a resort in Albania, and had someone physically deliver a stone engraved with the Trump family crest to a Republican Member of Congress with instructions to take it to the White House to get the President's attention.

Trump threw his weight behind repealing the sanctions. They were lifted. The contracts are moving, and the Trump family’s deals are expanding.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

But in this specific case I understand exactly what you’re doing and I’d like to stop it now. I have never said or suggested that “everyone needs to know where their local Chabad is,” or anything remotely like it. I didn’t attack or even criticize Chabad, an organization I’ve mentioned precisely once in my life. Last week I said I believed that IDF soldiers in Israel have received third temple patches for their uniforms from Chabad. I believe that’s true. Please let me know if I’m wrong, not that you care. The point of your post is to blame me preemptively for violent attacks on American Jews that you believe are coming. This is an absurd slander of course. I abhor violence against innocents, which is why I am disgusted by what Israel has done in Gaza and why I argued against the current war in Iran. As a Christian and an American I also vehemently oppose punishing anyone on the basis of bloodline. The concept of “Amalek” has no place in Western civilization and certainly not in my country. I am therefore strongly opposed to anti-Semitism, precisely as much as I am to the anti-Arab hate you promote or the anti-white bias embedded in the US government and our largest institutions. It’s all immoral and indefensible. I believe in the inherent rights of the individual because I believe in God. What you’re doing divides this country more than you likely understand. There’s not going be a draft. Trump doesn’t have the authority to order a draft. There’s not going be a ground invasion to take over Iran. We don’t have the equipment or the 10 million troops required to do it.

Iran isn’t going to “surrender” either. Trump is using that stupid language bc he’s lost and confused.

Trump miscalcuted every aspect of the Iran attack. He is unprepared, thoughtless, inexperienced, compromised, desperate, and rotting from dementia. It’s obvious from Trump’s comments that he has no idea what he’s doing. He’s making up shit as he goes along. He winged it to keep Epstein off the front pages.

The loss of even one US Service member’s life is not worth this debacle. An 86-year-old psycho supreme leader, who would have died anyway, was killed and is being replaced with his son. The destruction of their infrastructure is not worth the damage being done to US bases, personnel and world economy. These are the consequences of the US electing a compromised, criminal, traitor with dementia who was rightfully disqualified from even running.
