@elonmusk From a high-pressure belly, your fart might propel you upward and forward.
Come to think of it, that's exactly how your car is powered:
A 700 bar, 600 liter, 3 second, noisy fart 😆
[Hopefully without the methane and the smelly compounds]
Every constitution answers fundamental questions about how political power is organised.
Kenya's 2010 Constitution answers one more with unusual sophistication: how should the public resources of a democratic republic be raised, protected, allocated, spent and accounted for under constitutional government?
Under President Uhuru Kenyatta, that answer was set aside, and Kenyans were denied much of the promise of 2010.
His former deputy, President William Ruto, has deepened that rejection. Unless he is voted out in 2027, he will finish the job of burying the Constitution.
But it is not enough merely to vote Ruto out and replace him with another pretender: a leader whose record rejects the promise of 2010, but who, by guile, masquerades as the messiah.
@harrison_mumia So expression of their freedom of association as stipulated in the Kenyan constitution a betrayal? Not everyone thinks or aspires to be like you and space is allowed in a civilized society for everyone to associate with whoever they want. Kenya is a democratic state.
@kittsrobert@WAMBUTHSI@mwabilimwagodi2 Thats quite a load of ignorance. Sifuna was Elected under ODM not on any coalition. He claims that he is different and will follow the law, he cannot break the law because others broke it. He needs to resign and seek a fresh mandate from the people using his new party. Simple!
Abel Mutua: An influencer is well within their rights to support however they want. Why are you letting an influencer make decisions for you? You know where the shoe pinches, you make the decisions #JKLive
@ntvkenya You cannot even report a story accurately? Its simple if your solar system is offgrid its okay, if your solar system interacts with the grid you need to sign a net metering deal with kplc otherwise they will surcharge you. Thats the story not what you just posted.
My heart goes out to those affected and still confused about what immigration laws to follow after yesterday’s deadline. Here is the legal position to help you plan.
If you are a foreign national from an East African Community (EAC) country and intend to reside in Kenya while doing business, trade or working, you can regularise your stay by applying for a Class R Permit.
Go to the Kenya eFNS portal on eCitizen and search for a ‘Class R’ Permit, available to EAC nationals who intend to reside in Kenya and earn a living.
This includes nationals of Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and South Sudan. Somalia is also an EAC Partner State.
The Class R Permit itself is FREE. Meaning, the processing fee and the issuance fee are both 0 (zero).
EAC nationals residing long-term must still fulfil standard Foreign National Registration requirements, such as the annual Alien Card fee, which is separate from the gratis Class R Permit.
Here is what you require:
You will need relevant supporting documents, including a valid passport and documents relating to your business or activity. Requirements may vary by sector. Small-scale traders may also be required to provide a Kenyan police clearance certificate where applicable.
Application Process:
Start online through the eFNS portal on eCitizen.
Where physical submission is required, print your forms and supporting documents and submit them at Immigration Headquarters or designated regional Immigration offices.
It is very important to note that not every EAC national visiting Kenya automatically needs a Class R Permit. EAC citizens enjoy general movement rights under the EAC Common Market framework, but those intending to reside, work, or run a business must ensure they hold the appropriate legal status.
Please share this information widely to assist EAC nationals in regularising their stay and businesses safely.

Mwangi, don’t worry ,I only have one vote just like you. In a democracy, the majority wins. What you should be doing is convincing me and others to join Gachagua’s camp, not insulting us.
