@lax_mi5 According to their research shows that regardless of the socioeconomic status, majority of first nation are generally victimized by discrimination. Indigenous people of higher economic position who lived in urban areas such as city, those who were members of Stolen Generation.

I was horrified to read of Aboriginal people's Stolen Generations. This violates human rights and has long-term consequences for their safety, well-being, mental health, cultural identity, and development. This topic is subjective and very fascinating. #nursing1008

Intergeneration Trauma is something that is handed down to successive generations from individuals who have directly witnessed an occurrence. For ex: domestic violence, alcohol and drug addiction, child abuse, neglect etc. So much learnings today.#nursing1008
