The rich vote to import slaves, which lowers the price of labor, which destroys the middle class, which gives the rich an even larger voting share, which they use to bring in more slaves.

If you gave the capitalists control of this country, there would be 100M more migrants and 10M more H1Bs here overnight.

If you can’t see that, you’re too blinded by ideology to understand incentives.
