The airline lost my bag for 72 hours.
They handed me a $50 “courtesy” voucher at the baggage desk and smiled like they’d done me a favor.
I kept the voucher. Then I opened my laptop and used a 1999 international treaty they never mention at check-in.
Total recovered: $1,650.
Here are the three legal weapons most passengers never know they have.
You pay ₹5,000 locker rent but the bank’s liability is only ₹5 lakh.
I found a way to keep ₹50 lakh worth of gold safer for half the cost with bank.
Make one change and the bank takes full responsibility for your gold.👇🏻
@VishnuNDTV Being an IT powerhouse, we should not embarrass ourselves with the poor quality of govt websites.
There are other instances when you can't open many govt websites & apps outside India bcz of security reason. It would be better to apply security rather than blocking the same.

@BlueDartCares Why the hell your delivery boy does not deliver the packet if customer misses to pick up a call from some random number ? You have address on the package and your delivery boy takes it back with out any concerns.. what is importance of address then ?
EDUCATE THEM
Dear @ShubmanGill,
I am sitting here, phone in hand, heart heavy with the noise that’s been swirling around you. You have just been handed the reins of India’s ODI captaincy, a dream job, a massive honour, but also a one that comes with massive responsibility. And yet, instead of pure celebration, you are catching flak from some of our own fans, the very ones who live and breathe Indian cricket. They are upset, saying your rise somehow dims Rohit Sharma’s star. As someone who’s grown up cheering for every run, every wicket, every heartbeat of this game, I can’t stay quiet. This letter is for you, for Indian cricket, and for the fans who need a reminder of what this sport means.
Let’s get one thing straight: @ImRo45 is a giant. His swagger at the crease, those cracking pull shots, the way he’s led us to two World Cup victories, it’s the stuff of legend. I have jumped off my couch for his sixes, held my breath during his clutch chases, fought many social media wars for him, and felt my chest swell with pride watching him lift ICC trophies. Rohit isn’t just a cricketer; he’s a feeling, a hero who’s carried our hopes through thick and thin. But loving Rohit doesn’t mean we have to turn our backs on you, Shubman.
Your new role as captain has stirred up a storm. Some fans act like it’s a betrayal of Rohit’s legacy. They’re missing the point. Cricket doesn’t work that way, it’s not one or the other. It’s not about tearing down the past to build the future. This game has always moved forward, from Gavaskar’s grit to Kapil’s miracle, from Tendulkar’s genius to Dhoni’s cool, from Kohli’s fire to Rohit’s calm. Each one is added to the story, not erased it. You’re not here to replace Rohit; you are here to pick up the bat and write the next chapter.
I have been watching you since your U19 days, stroking those cover drives like they were painted with a brush. There’s something special about the way you play, calm, classy, hungry. You have got that spark, the kind that makes fans believe in what’s possible.
Being Indian captain isn’t just about picking bowlers or setting fields; it’s about carrying a billion dreams, handling the cheers and the jeers, and still showing up. I see that in you. I believe you’re ready.
To the fans who are upset, I want to say this: we don’t honour Rohit by throwing shade at Shubman. Rohit’s too big for that, too gracious. He’s always been about the team, not himself. Turning this into a fight between him and you, Shubman, misses what he’s all about. Indian cricket isn’t about one guy, it’s about all of us, the ones who stay up late, scream at the TV, and feel every run in our bones. You are not stealing anyone’s spotlight; you’re stepping into it, ready to shine.
As a fan, I have felt it all, the gut-punch of losses, the high of victories. I have seen heroes come and go, and I’ve learned that cricket’s magic is in how it keeps going, keeps growing. You are that growth, Shubman. You are the guy young kids will watch, dreaming of holding a bat like you do, cheering for India like I do. Don’t let the haters drown out those kids, or your own voice.
I want you to know there are millions of us rooting for you. We are pumped to see your first ton as captain, to bite our nails when you make a bold call in the field, to stick by you when things get rough. We love Rohit’s legacy by cheering for the future you’re building. That’s Indian cricket, loud, messy, passionate, always moving forward.
So go out there, Shubman. Play with that fire and freedom you’ve always had. Lead with the heart that got you here. The crease is yours, the team is yours, and so is our faith. The noise will quiet down, but the game? It’s forever. And with you leading, I know we are in good hands.
With all my heart,
Madhav
