This is a big deal for the future of ethanol blending in the Midwest. Thank you @GovTimWalz for working with your fellow governors to ensure the long-term future for #E15 and higher blends of ethanol. #BetterFuel4MN improves air quality at a lower price!
MCGA applauds step toward permanent year-round E15. Thank you @GovTimWalz for your support of homegrown ethanol! https://t.co/xe9q1eoECU #BetterFuel4MN
Really appreciative of the efforts by corn farmers, ethanol partners and Minnesota elected officials who advocated for this common-sense action to ensure continued access to cleaner-burning, lower-cost #ethanol. @mncorn will keep working on a long-term fix for year-round E15.
Today's announcement ensures that drivers will have uninterrupted access to cleaner-burning, lower-cost E15. Thanks to all of the corn farmers and elected officials who urged the Biden administration to take this common-sense step! https://t.co/mk9UWOriys
U.S. biofuels are:
✔️Cheaper than Russian oil
✔️A homegrown, sustainable energy source
✔️An effective way to reduce carbon emissions
We need to invest more in biofuels and get year-round E-15 NOW to help our fight against Russian aggression and lower costs for working families.
Excellent #MnAg policy discussion with @NickAFrentz and @mncorn farmer-leaders and members. Previewed a number of #MnLeg topics for the upcoming session.
and plenty of current research is clear on ethanol's ability to reduce carbon emissions compared to gasoline. Such as this 2021 research paper from @argonne funded by @energy. https://t.co/uQPehivoSE
PSA: information presented in this opinion piece is based on research partly funded by @APIenergy. API has used their enormous resources to oppose renewable fuels for decades to the determinant of farmers, rural communities and anyone who breathes. https://t.co/n5LuMDbBWW
Recent research from MN-based Hormel Institute has found that ethanol-blended fuels can help reduce risk of cancer https://t.co/c3NdJBwV09. We can either blend gasoline with carcinogenic hydrocarbons or renewable hydrocarbons, such as ethanol. It is a policy choice.
One of the programs @mncorn supports is @MN4H and it is #National4HWeek! My involvement in 4-H during my youth help get me interested in public policy and set me on my career path. #4Hproud
