During Luka's V4X development. The UTAU Voicebank Gahata Meiji (known for her versatile voicebanks) was used as reference in order to capture the varying vocal styles of Luka's VP (Yu Asakawa.) Because of her range, Meiji also inspired/Introduced the "Growl" function in V4.
