Heya! I'm Aje, a filmmaker from Manila, currently looking for work for the month of August. HMU if you or someone you know needs an editor! <3
I usually work on documentaries and music videos, but I'm open to most things! You may also reach me at [email protected]
I probably come off as the opposite, but in reality, I barely know how to handle the camera haha. I should learn more, but work rarely finds me needing to hold one.
Some of my favorite films taught me to romanticize the mundane though; to see fullness of life in the boring shit.
The only consolation is seeing the idiot’s worried look when he noticed I was there to take note of his plate lol
Entitled idiots don’t deserve the opportunity to make a living through driving.
Or even the right to drive if they can’t even have the basic decency of not blocking a sidewalk. How complicated is this shit lol
That's a bridge that crosses the Pasig River and connects Mandaluyong to Makati.
I’m used to carbrains hating on anything that’s not 4-wheeled, but the anti-tree carbrain is a new specie lol
Trees roots can damage concrete daw kasi and getting rid of trees for road widening projects require additional resources 🤣 I wish this was satirical
They spend a lot of time crying about people who don’t even know who they are lol. Mga iyakin.
Got to play with some Canon gear recently. I’m a firm believer in indian>pana but nice gear is a good source of inspiration sometimes.
Some outputs:
1. A trip to Cafe Siriusdan
2. An afternoon at 1C
3. A hike to Mt. Ulap
Thoughts:
-sticking to the 35-40 kph gravel peloton before sunrise is terrifying haha little room for error. Objects flying, people falling over
-proper base building saved me. Couldnt push power but managed to keep a kinda fast zone 2 with dead legs
-carbs and protein is lyf
A summary of how that race felt haha
The race was my first real ride in 2 weeks due to bike and health problems. I have a solid base but my legs weren’t ready to jump into that intensity
Literally 150 km of both legs cramping 🤣 Thought I was going to lose my head from the pain
I just manage to do it faster over time, but some parts of this route doesn’t get that much easier.
The pain is rewarded with cool breeze and endless green though.
My cancellable industry take is that the ubiquity of SDE videos and photos for weddings and events devalues the craft. Yeah it's good business but so is fast food. Great to have at the moment but it is bad for you.
