Tons of respect for the work you’ve done covering a sport that has experienced its own evolution. Take the forward pass for instance. The QB specifically became glorified & of paramount importance because of that evolution. How about the spread offense? I don’t hear anyone clamoring for “60 minutes of ground and pound” these days. Gloves that are stickier than the spider tack baseball players use aren’t part of the game so receivers can hold a block downfield alongside a fullback that no longer exists. Michael Vick came along & revolutionized the way the QB position was played & defended. Just like Jacob Misiorowski is throwing 106MPH & making it that much tougher to get a bunt down against him. Games change whether we like it or not. I think we can both agree that executing fundamentals of the games is foundational to success. Players will evolve to perform in ways that lead to trends of compensation. Nobody is paying for sac bunts but they pay for HR’s. Nobody is paying a QB to hand it of 35 times but an Air Raider gets breaded up before he ever takes an NFL snap. The game changes.

Poor Enmanuel De Jesus hasn’t pitched in the @MLB since 2023 but no one cares because the Top Prospect with the AURA couldn’t catch a couple routine fly balls!

The second one was ruled a ground rule double somehow.

This is what happens when organizations hype up Prospects who haven’t done anything at the @MLB level yet who are more concerned with building their brand than actually playing the game!

This is also a direct result of MLB teams not having veterans who used to teach the young knuckleheads how to look and act like a Big Leaguer!
