Doing the right thing isn’t free. Doing the right thing might even cost you everything.
But when the time comes, you have to ask yourself: Will you do the right thing when it counts? When it could cost you everything?
@Rainmaker1973 You mean, China just introduced a sink that I'll have to explain how to use the sink to every single person who walks through the door.
Make a sink that solves chicken hands, and then we're talking.
Put yourself in situations where you have too much at stake to waste time or resources—if you cannot afford to lose, you won’t. Place yourself on “death ground,” where your back is against the wall and you have to fight like hell to get out alive.
Universal Studios has just produced their Disney's California Adventure Park opening Universal Studios Kids resort in Texas.
A rushed, VE'ed park that will need to be redone slowly over the years to make it profitable.
Teaching someone your trade offers a unique look at your fundamental understanding of these subjects and if you truly know them or are just regurgitating information.
Freeing slaves at the beginning of the Civil war was more about political party power than helping the slaves out. It was only small groups of religious people and women's rights advocates that campaigned for freeing the slaves on a moral basis.
Interestingly enough, most Americans were told the civil war was fought to free slaves. But slavery was weirdly used as 1 of many reasons for the war, but ultimately it got wedged as thee reason at the end as an F you of total domination to the confederation.
Shocked this needs clarifying:
I'm not counting confederate deaths for the objectively true reason that they were not fighting to end slavery.
There were two major theaters of conflict in WII.
The European theater was where we were fighting fascists.
The other theater was a war against another brutal regime that's best described as militaristic authoritarianism.
This is in no way meant to take anything away from the Americans who fought and died fighting Japan, their service is equally valid and heroic.
However, it would not fall into the category of "fighting fascism" as commonly understood by Americans.
Camping is complete buIIshlit. It is not comfortable, it is not fun. Bugs are everywhere.
I like my bed or a nice hotel bed.
I will visit you at your camp. I will hang out by the fire for an hour or two drinking. But I am not sleeping there all night and being miserable.
