@MayorOfWY expensive, not worth it, LBA a less used airport: all flawed - poor access reduces expansion. Want traffic off roads and useable airport, a branch line linking Guiseley to Horsforth & actual airport station. Opens Craven, Lds, Bfd, Wharfedale, Airedale, & beyond in Y&H
It’s shit that it’s shit, but the lack of communication is the worst thing about British infrastructure. This is seen as normal and acceptable. How is that allowed???? In Japan, the CEO would be on TV in tears
@CrossCountryUK What a shit show you are. Are you first class… yes… Wouldn’t let me on the train unless ticket seen… all one train… could walk to another bit if I had to, and, for example, you just needed people to get on so you could leave on time.. this is my seat, and late
Even within the deals all the options aren’t there and then add to that, searching by word e.g. “bistro” and not everything comes up, it’s making it impossible to use. Very much downhill this year and getting worse, and tbh so is visiting. What is happening? 1/2
@asda your groceries app has become so painful. The search sends random things back, things that I know are stocked don’t appear when searching by word, links to the deals take you to other deals (ie. Bistro meal for £… takes you to any two for £…) contd 1/x
As usual the highlight of PCC for me, hot topics in pharmacology by @Paul_Howard_IoW this time covered Prucalopride, Bezafibrate for cholestatic itch,Fezolinetant for hot flushes #PCC2025@PCCongress
@skytv I can’t not fathom why it is so difficult to cancel my TV subscription online or on your app. After looking at help, I went back to my account and I found where cancel was hidden. After checking “did I definitely want to cancel”, this just looped round to the help again.
@skytv@Ofcom is this appropriate?? It feels like it forces you to ring which undoubtedly I will either forget, or if I remember, and get through it will just be the hard sell. This is not appropriate. #Neurodivergent. One click cancel (at a push two)!
@VodafoneUK signed up for broadband. Full fibre 150. Quote with £5 discount is £25/mth. Email and pre contract states this. But one email says as per photo. Please explain.
Conveniently the login doesn’t work for my account on line to be able to check and your app is not working.
6 month fulltime fixed term trust grade hospice doctor opportunity at #SueRyder Manorlands Hospice in West Yorkshire. We are a busy, active, specialist unit that works closely with our local hospital and community teams. We look forward to hearing from you https://t.co/wxpeLI8RdN
@doc_bipolar And your skills are incredible. You will continue to be amazing. While most of us can never truly understand the impact of the details behind this decision, these details are yours and yours alone. This is a forward step. Well done.
@ITVX trying to rewatch football with son, I get that can’t fast forward the adverts but every time we try to FF after the adverts it goes back to the start of the adverts we’ve just watched. REALLY INFURIATING. Want to get to start of the match. Now can’t & it’s time for bed 😡

Excellent SR from the NEWY palliative medicine training scheme. Honour to supervise. Outcome: low quality evidence, but likely role for anti-fibrinolytics for mucosal bleeding at the end of life and no evidence of harm. @Sue_Ryder @wolfsonpallcare https://t.co/fg3ZecozYE

"Mattering" is the belief that we’re significant to the world around us. When people feel they matter, they feel seen, important & needed through how others treat them. Scholars have deemed mattering to be a core instinct that drives all human behaviour. That’s why, when someone doesn’t believe they matter at work they:
- won’t share their voice if they don’t believe their voice is significant
- won’t use their strengths if they don’t believe they have strengths
- won’t contribute if they don’t believe they have something to contribute
- won’t care as much as if they feel cared for
Actions that leaders/ teams can take: see some excellent articles by @ZachMercurio - "How to Create Mattering at Work": https://t.co/vlxLnrqGWF and "The Cost of Not Mattering at Work": https://t.co/AocAKNMhxm.
