'Pushpa 2' teaser scene in real life, Poachers caught on night vision camera
A real-life event similar to scenes from the "Pushpa-2" movie teaser happened in the Armabad Tiger Reserve within Telangana's Nallamala forest.
Similar to how smuggler Pushpa was caught on wildlife surveillance cameras, four poachers found themselves captured by a night vision camera trap.
While Pushpa was on the run, forest officials caught three out of four poachers.
On February 2, 2024, forest officials set up cameras in the dense Umman Penta beat of the Pandigundam range of Amrabad Tiger Reserve as part of Camera Trap Phase 4.
On February 23, while reviewing the camera data, forest personnel caught two poachers carrying a Nilgai, their hunted trophy. Two others were identified later. Police arrested three, and one is still on the run.
Three of the arrested poachers, Dasari Lalu, Dasari Srinu, and Jelly Krishna, come from the remote Maddi Madugu village in the Amrabad Tiger Reserve.
However, one of the accused, Kashamoni Raman, managed to escape, prompting forest officials to launch a search for him.
