@ANI@DKShivakumar another project that no one needs . What we need is more public transport, pothole free roads , foot paths , feeder buses and stricter traffic rules.
Unpopular opinion: Software engineering is the only job where the interview is harder than the actual job
Interview: Design a distributed system for 10M users
Job: The login button moved 2 pixels, please fix
Beware of the Prompt Parrots
One of the more serious side effects of #AI isn’t the machines — it’s the humans pretending to be creative because of them.
I see an entire new species emerging in our industry:
- Mid and senior managers who’ve discovered prompts, not imagination and now think of themselves as designers and product managers
- Who equate “AI savvy” with feeding ChatGPT and repackaging outputs.
- Who now “design” products with zero curiosity about the user and a surplus of slides / slack messages about “GenAI-powered innovation” And force these designs down for implemention.
Let’s call them what they are — Prompt Parrots.
They echo, not imagine.
They replicate, not think.
And they’re about to flood product and design orgs faster than we can say “OKR”
Product leaders / CEOs now need to actively clamp down on this menace.
God forbid if product leaders themselves are Prompt Parrots — someone who promotes AI gimmicks over genuine user insight — pack your bags and leave. Immediately.
Because the future still belongs to the creative — the ones who question, feel, and design for meaning.
Not those who just prompt for output.
Creativity is underrated.
But it will take orgs many years to see the parrot from the creator. Till then dear product managers and designers , keep the faith.
4. and then...
Models drift & APIs change. A one-time “responsible AI” checklist goes stale in weeks. What you need is a living programme—owners, budgets, OKRs, and a slot in every retrospective.
AI pilots are cool.
AI governance is boring.
But the next big mess-ups won’t be tech failures — they’ll be governance failures.
Responsible AI is a muscle. Most haven’t built it yet.

3. Governance debt is invisible… until it blows up
Tech debt slows releases; governance debt makes headlines. It’s easy to postpone log pipelines, role-based limits, red-team drills. The clean-up bill dwarfs whatever you “saved” by shipping early. Governance of deterministic systems are itself hard, this is just another level of "hard".
Autonomous systems and enterprises powered by LLMs + multi-agent architectures: Hype or reality?
Maybe both.
But one thing’s clear—we’re on the edge of systems that collaborate, adapt, and learn.
Worth building. Worth exploring.

Today the fire is so close to houses. Is that a retaliation to what was published in TOI today , regarding burning of toxic waste in this area. This needs to stop now !!!
