The Cost Game of SDP kit in Dengue Season

Dengue season is knocking at doors and so as the season of 'Looting Patients" in the name of "Expensive" "SDP Kits". For years, SDP kit rates have gone haywire. Its real cost falls under 3K to 7K but it sells under 15k to 1.5 Lac. There is No Mechanism to check on the cost of SDP Kits. Why? No answer yet so far.

Dengue Fever Falls under the Epidemic Diseases Act, of 1897. Under this, the state govt shall control the prices of the treatment.

Under the Epidemic Diseases Act, the [State Government] shall deem it necessary to prevent the outbreak of such disease or the spread thereof and may determine in what manner and by whom any expenses incurred (including compensation if any) shall be defrayed.
