the most important thing to know about the 5pm "house of origin" deadline that just "killed" a bunch of good bills is that it's fake & made up.

if enough @WAHouseDems & @WASenateDems cared more about helping people than pleasing the #waleg-norms-fairy, they'd pass those bills

And I'll point out that #waleg has shown they can pass important bills after the arbitrary cutoffs they set. If this was a priority, they would find a way to get it done this year.

Over 100 of my former #waleg colleagues are out sick this morning because #hb1806 was never brought to the Floor for a vote. Leg employees deserve the same ability to unionize that almost every other state employee has. I stand with them in solidarity today, and every day!
