One message said Nemanja Vidic should “stay away from the association or he will end up in a ditch”.
The ex-Manchester United captain was recently informed that an investigation had led reporters in Serbia to believe that Slavisa Kokeza, the former head of the Serbian Football Association, had sent messages seeking to organise his monitoring, intimidation and physical assault.
In his first English-language interview since the messages came to light, the former defender discusses how the revelations have affected him.
