I've been reminding myself that the biggest promises you can break are the ones you make to yourself and it's really been helping me make lifestyle changes little by little. The days I've went w/o breaking a promise to myself have left me feeling the most calm/satisfied😌

I can't go home for the holidays because I don't want to put any family at risk. Since I'm staying here I'll probably end up having to pick up more work responsibilities while others see their families. I'm sad. I'm angry. I feel like a doormat during the "happiest time of year".

If Gary Peters loses his seat I will be so sad. It's not looking like he will... But Sen Peters is a WARRIOR for the health of our Great Lakes and I truly worry for our beloved freshwaters if that seat is overtaken by an industry hungry senator.
