And then he also said, “In November, we'll face a choice. Do we demand a government that serves us rather than the fraudsters and the criminals? Do we demand that the American president fight for the American people first?” 70% of Americans say Donald Trump isn't focused on lowering costs, doesn't care about people like me, and 70% say he has businesses influence how he makes political decisions.

JD Vance is describing his own government, the fraudsters and the criminals, and Americans will vote based on that.

I have no frame of reference, I can't compare it to the sentiments of US soldiers in previous conflicts. But I suspect these are new sentiments, or at least a new willingness to express them this openly and directly.

But as one serviceman told me: "What people in the media don't understand when they compare past conflicts to this one, is this operation has no morale behind it. That makes a world of difference to service members deployed to undesirable locations indefinitely."

Read that last part again: No morale. Deployed to undesirable locations INDEFINITELY.

My own conclusion: When a war has no morale behind it, winning means that you simply end it. There is no other "winning" in such an unjust war.

OK, so follow me through on this. He announces the tariffs on April 2 of last year. The markets tank nonstop for like a week because it’s a disastrous trade policy, and six days into the crash, April 8, Trump buys millions in stock. I’m talking Amazon, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Berkshire Hathaway, and then the very next morning, April 9, he posts on Truth Social, quote, “This is a great time to buy.” Three exclamation marks.

OK, now listen to this. Three hours and 41 minutes after that post, one day after he bought millions in stock, he canceled the tariffs and triggered one of the biggest same-day rebound rallies in market history.

He’s trying to get money. And you saw, now he’s offering paid subscriptions to presidential announcements, right? Just understand what’s for sale here: The sitting president’s pronouncements on war and peace and economic policy delivered first to paying customers.

What an absolute crook.
