What they’re explaining is that the prosecution had the burden of proof to show that Lindsay was completely in control of her actions and that an insanity plea was unsustainable. Instead they spent too much time simply trying to show how horrific the deaths were, as if the jury would be so horrified they’d rule out insanity just to get her.

If you’re mad about the result, be mad at the prosecution for not making a convincing argument.
