#Fisheries support 37,000 Alaskan #jobs & generate >$5.6 billion in economic output. Climate change is putting it all at risk. Tell
@lisamurkowski to reduce carbon emissions. We can’t afford to wait. The #TimeisNow https://t.co/Ms0ggDyrzf

Our fisheries management bill passed out of @NRDems!
Over the past three years, we embarked on a remarkably transparent, stakeholder-driven effort to update the MSA. A big day and an important step for more inclusive, science-based legislation. @RepEdCase@Rep_Peltola
Today is #NationalVoterRegistrationDay! Whether you live in Southeast Alaska or elsewhere, we want to encourage all Americans to get involved in this process so integral to our democracy.

Commercial Fisherman Ben Blakey of Northline Seafoods at 2014’s Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal Rally discussing why it’s so critical we protect Bristol Bay salmon from the toxic Pebble Mine. @EPA can end the threat before we fish again. #VetoPebbleMine
Monday, 1/24 is the deadline to submit a comment in support of Roadless protections for the #Tongass, which is a foundation for our local, sustainable economy– the intact, living forest creates 26% of Southeast Alaska’s jobs. https://t.co/xDWVOZfzV7

For years, the Tribal-led campaign to #DefendBristolBay has exerted relentless pressure to @StopPebbleNow. @POTUS Biden promised that his administration would permanently protect Bristol Bay. We're calling on @EPA to make good on that promise by summer 2022 and #VetoPebbleMine.
A $4 million grant to the Alaska Ocean Observing System will support innovative ocean technologies—great news to Alaska’s ocean observers studying our state’s coasts and seas.

🐻🐻It's that time of year again! All eyes are on Alaska's Katmai National Park as #FatBearWeek 2021 begins. Starting today, Katmai's furry residents will be working hard to pack on the pounds before winter begins. Which bear do you think will weigh the most by week's end? 🐻⬇️
@lisamurkowski If built, this will be the first time in modern Alaska history that the fisheries resources of the region are traded for gold. Several of the Title 16 permits from ADF&G and water rights authorizations from AK DNR allow for the total destruction and dewatering of salmon habitat.
Thank you @repdonyoung for championing this investment in our coastal communities. This kind of investment in Alaska will pay dividends to Alaskans for generations to come.
We have a tremendous opportunity to revitalize our coastal communities w/ the #BuildBackBetter Plan. I joined @RepDonYoung in leading 35 bipartisan Members in calling for a $10B investment in coastal restoration projects & robust funding for ocean data. https://t.co/fuopID5aIA
