@altini_marco I suppose the context of the person and the sport is important to consider. Going from sedentary to running 4-5 hours a week is a large shift in activity so likely either injury or large gains in endurance. Cycling would be different for risk with back issues etc.
Thinking of using #ChatGPT for your work or research. Seems like the same company have launched the tool that employers or lecturers will be able to use to see if your text is written by AI!
Yesterday the team spent the day @YourStMarys in the lab being put through their paces. The day consisted of psychology, body composition, physiology and a technique workshop. We are extremely grateful for the team at St Mary’s for the opportunity!
Was an honour to be involved in the testing day for @forceatlantic ‘s all female team that will row across the Atlantic!!!
Inspiring to see the team work and camaraderie between them! Thank you to @Perform_Science@YourStMarys@JessHill84@SarahC_2 for the opportunity!
@Gareth_Sandford Hi Gareth, we have an elite marathon runner heading to altitude for a training camp. Is there any evidence around altitude adjusted training paces? Trying to sort out tempo sessions etc without over cooking it. Many thanks for any insights 🙏
@MuscleScience Hi Kieth, I’ve listened to a number of podcasts with yourself now and wanted to reach out to see if you were up for doing a workshop with our run club. We’re doing an educational series on why injuries happen. Please let me know if it is of interest. Many thanks
