How do you defend yourself when you can't even show evidence to a jury? #SonomaRescueTrial defendant Wayne Hsiung has been told he can't show the evidence that allowed him to form his opinion that, under CA Penal Code 597e, rescuers had the right to enter facilities where animals were denied food and water. 

After being shown a few seconds of footage of the criminal animal cruelty at Sunrise egg farm and Reichardt Duck Farm, the judge ruled that no video or photo evidence regarding animal welfare will be shown to the jury. She also ruled that while the majority of our witnesses will be allowed to testify, they may not speak of any animal welfare concerns unless it directly relates to Wayne's mindset.

The #SonomaRescueTrial continues to show the unjust nature of our judicial system. Regardless of the outcome, activists will never stop bringing to light the atrocities inflicted upon animals every day at factory farms around the world. Join us in this fight for animal liberation.
