So IndiGo's Delhi-Manchester is returning to Delhi after being denied access to Asmara FIR (Eritrea)!

Seems as though several IndiGo flights have run into permit issues as Eritreans are confused by IndiGo flight on Norse aircraft → see ACARS messages from ops to aircraft!

IndiGo flight 6E33 (operated by Norse) made a U-turn on the border between Ethiopia and Eritrea and is returning to Delhi.
This was the first IndiGo Delhi - Manchester flight since the 26th of Feb.

@Garimauk @IndiGo6E Hey, Garima . Request them to book you European flight because they are operated and this is the indigo airline fault so they need to pay the fair difference. If its price is high. Moreover, if customer fault they ask customer to pay the fair differences. Now their turn to pay.

@IndiGo6E Indigo headace,
All the European flight they are rerouted their route but indigo. Uff rather than rerouting they cancelled the flight from last week. Better not to choose indigo in my entire life. Flight details - MANCHESTER TO DELHI (6E33)
