@David_Gunkel@mitpress Answering the first depends on how consciousness is achieved in our brain. If it is computable, then it is a technical problem rather than a philosophical one. The second brings pragmatical considerations, not about the 'ideal' entity. The third is changeable for everyone.
Many, including me, suggested this regulatory action to be taken years before. NHTSA was delayed but arrived at the right destination. NHTSA should also ban using "FSD" that implies Level 5 vehicles for Tesla's Level 2 vehicles.

Tesla will release an over-the-air (OTA) update without additional cost to customers in the coming weeks. This update aims to improve FSD's capability in overcoming the described scenarios. This recall shows OTA updates will be frequently used in the future for ADAS and AVs.
