I’m honored to take on this new role @ucanr! We have great people working on fire through the state, and I can’t wait to better connect & support them, and to further build our fire team🔥 ❤️ I’m also excited to continue my work on Rx Fire in CA and my leadership on @WomensTREX
Election results were clear: voters want elected leaders who want to govern, solve problems, and work together - as the Assembly has been doing - and they want members who are willing to protect this city and stand up to unethical and illegal actions when necessary. 4/4
Or how about when we held him accountable for illegally spending millions of public dollars? Every member currently on the body is cooperative and solution-oriented - that will not be a new thing. But it takes both branches to cooperate effectively. 3/4
@Robes1@Constant4Alaska Folks who own homes valued under $900k would pay less and those who own homes valued $900k or more would pay more. As Chris said, the same overall amount would be collected.
@KevinBerryEcon Our schools are a mirror of the growing divide between rich and poor. We’re pulling kids out of our neighborhoods and into even more demographically-similar groups. Many choice schools don’t offer free bfast/lunch, meaning poor kids can’t even attend. It’s a huge problem.
