LeBron James could barely dribble and doesn't play defense. He's more of a transition offensive player at this point of his career who cherrypicks to get dunks.
Re-signing him doesn't benefit the Lakers. It hurts them. Young Bron, I would be all for it. Old Bron needs to retire.
@RussNationPrez@TheWestWolfPod I have just picked a bunch of low cost mutual funds that follow the three indeces (DJIA, NASDAQ and S&P 500) and just invest regularly.
Everything just grows over time.
Happy to give mutual fund recommendations if you DM me and the ones that have worked well for me.
Stephen Jackson on Tim Duncan:
“As a player, I was honored to follow him because the type of guy when I came in, I’m the type that everybody stray away from. You know what I’m saying? I curse, I’m loud, I’m ghetto, you know what I’m saying? But he embraced it..
Like if you see in the games, all the big games.. he bringing a double team and throwing it to me, and so the fact that you got probably the best power forward of all time believing in you like that, that shit meant the world to me.
And that’s why I forever love TD because for him to embrace me, that gave me a level of confidence that I didn’t thought I had..
And like to this day, like he called me the ultimate teammate.. For Tim Duncan to say that about me, that mean the world dog.”

Jermaine Dupri says Kobe Bryant spotted Bow Wow 15 points… then beat him 16-15
“Kobe said the craziest shit ever to Bow Wow. He said, ‘Mfer, you be seeing sharks with their little fins out in the ocean. It's a whole lot different when you get in this water with them’”
“Bow Wow was like, ‘What that mean?’ He said, ‘I'mma give you 15 points. We going to 16. I'm starting at zero. You got 15 already’”
“Oh my God. Kobe thawed that mfer up. That boy couldn't breathe. Couldn't move the ball. Bow Wow couldn't make one shot. He couldn't get around him. He couldn't get away from him. He couldn't do nothing”
“Kobe scored 16 straight points. It was crazy. I gained a lot of respect for Kobe that day because he was talking shit, but he was really backing it up. I'm like, ‘There's no way possible, Bow Wow. You can get at least one shot’”
@jahpeoplewin Don't tease me boy!! I don't want to come home for the reunion only to find out them James boys have eaten all the good food!!!!
Be 100% sure n then ping me.
Austin Reaves on re-signing with the Lakers
"And I feel like, you know, with me and Luka, that's a great starting piece to compete. And when we put a roster together that can go compete, I feel like winning a championship will basically solidify everything that I want and everything that the Lakers want.”
(Via @DanWoikeSports)
@jahpeoplewin Bruh - I'm only gonna allow you to claim championships from the years you supported them. Not chips from when Wilt Chamberlain was turning into an adolescent and mapping out how he was gonna lay pipe for decades to come!
@GuruLakers Twitter - Pay attention to the words he's using. I know you all are too dumb to understand this. But he said "good asset management"...nothing about what Reaves is worth n so on.
That phrase means something but you need to have more than $1 in your bank account to appreciate dat
Giannis Antetokounmpo called his teammates "selfish" during the season, per @JimOwczarski
“Antetokounmpo let it be known he did not like locker room leaks, but his mental state was chronicled nearly all season by anonymous sources. He pleaded for accountability but then tried to pass off those reports as someone else’s doing. He would call his teammates selfish but then stand on a visiting team’s court with a former coach and yell about how that person would make sure he got the ball.”

🅾️🅾️ Wayne Rooney: On Lionel Messi performance against Austria:
“I’ll say this now, what we’re witnessing right now is just completely mental. I’ve played at the absolute highest level, I know what the physical toll of this game is, and Messi scoring twice today to break the all-time World Cup goal record? It’s just insane.
How are we all sitting here acting like this is normal? The man is 39 years old. At 39, most lads are sitting on a beach, or struggling to get out of bed for a Sunday league kickabout, let alone dominating the biggest tournament on Earth. It defies logic.
He’s out there gliding past players, reading the game three steps ahead of everyone else, and finishing like he’s still in his mid-twenties.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: anyone who still doubts Lionel Messi as the greatest to ever play the game simply is not mentally OK. It’s that simple.
There’s no footballing argument left to have. Even if your brain has been completely disconnected, your eyes alone just sitting there watching what he is doing on that pitch should tell you absolutely everything you need to know. You don't need a tactical breakdown. You just need to look at the screen. To do what he’s done throughout his career was incredible, but to reach the pinnacle of the World Cup record books at 39?
We will never, ever see anything like this again. We just need to stop trying to analyze it and appreciate that we're looking at the absolute best to ever lace up a pair of boots”
Crazy thing is at the beginning of this past season I did the math and thought the Spurs would have the best offer for a Giannis deal with Dylan Harper as the centerpiece + the salaries to get there and pair Giannis & Wemby.
Idk if there is anyone that would trade Harper for Giannis atp. And Bucks would do it in a heartbeat. Harper has been that good and projects to be all nba and all defense in about 2 years.
Can you imagine if Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden all stayed in OKC?!
@Tmac_213: "They would have built a dynasty there for sure."
