Watching @CoachJessieC become the regular season champ of the @RMAC_SPORTS from a remote cabin in Alaska was definitely the weekend highlight! Congrats @RegisRangersWBB can’t wait to watch you at the RMAC tournament!! #RangerUp#winning
Awesome #scicomm class taught by IARC's science communication researcher @kmftimm. Helps undergrads & graduate students in natural, physical or social sciences build strategic scicomm skills that reach audiences where they are. Look up by the course # 👉 https://t.co/OpjsPlcS39

IARC is proud to once again be a lead of the Arctic section of the annual #StateofClimate2021 report. @AlaskaWx, @AKcryosphere, Tom Ballinger, Uma Bhatt and John Walsh all contributed. https://t.co/u2zVxSPlEE
Wahoooo! So excited. This has been a year in the works. Such a fun project to see come to fruition. Come visit me to see the Arctic climate stripes wall at @IARC_Alaska. Grateful for @AlaskaWx/@TinaBuxbaum for taking this on with me!
What should we put climate stripes on next?
We've got climate stripes! If you're in Fairbanks stop by our center to see these giant (40-foot-long) climate stripes showing Arctic temperature change from 1900 to 2021. Huge thanks to @AlaskaWx/@TinaBuxbaum for helping make this happen! #ShowYourStripes

Yes! Let's normalize conducting #fieldwork with kids! Let's create more supportive policies from our institutions too.
In my case, I also benefited from a supportive (& also researcher) husband who gets it (loves it) when we conduct fieldwork with kid in tow - not all have that.
