After they broke her body & skull with iron bars they did this
"They were using a "sticky combustion-promoting film" designed to aid burning and maximize pain. Apparently, it's illegal"
Arrest these monstrous bastard savages #China#justiceforwangwang
The world watches ....
This is why we don’t give up
This picture always breaks me.
Wang Wang had just been beaten. She was badly injured, probably with broken bones.
She had no idea why any of this was happening to her. She didn’t know whether her babies were alive.
She didn’t run away, because her babies were still there. She just turned her back and sat down.
Maybe she thought it was over. Maybe she thought the worst had passed.
She had no idea that even worse was still to come. That she would die an agonizing death at the hands of those she had trusted.
Look at her.
This is why we never fucking give up.
And I don’t mean just posting online. That’s not enough.
Channel that anger and grief into action.
I mean peacefully demonstrating. Signing petitions. Emailing officials. Amplifying Chinese advocates. Sharing her story. Supporting people who speak up. Keeping the media interested. Raising awareness again and again and again. Exploring legal paths. Supporting organizations fighting for change.
Every action matters. Every new person who learns her name matters.
Even a few minutes here and there adds up. We the have power to drive change over time.
Whatever frustration, exhaustion or setbacks we face doing this are NOTHING compared with what Wang Wang endured that day.
She couldn’t speak for herself. Neither can all of the animals suffering unimaginable cruelty.
So we will speak for them.
For as long as it takes.
