so we've all been a little confused and I called paypal myself and asked and this is what they told me

-This is a brand new fee on top of the transaction fee we already pay. NO ONE neither personal nor business has been paying the conversion fee. THIS IS NEW FOR EVERYONE SO WE GETTING 2 FEES. conversion and transaction

-OPTING OUT- the lady told me that even if you opt out, YOU ARE STILL PAYING A CONVERSION FEE. This is to opt out of the automatic conversion. NOT THE FEE. manual or automatic. YOU PAY THE FEE.

- I asked her if there was a way to not pay the fee and she said NO. Even if you opt out. opting out has nothing to do with the fee. YOU PAY THE CONVERSION FEE.

PAYPAL THEMSELVES told me this info.

so either leave paypal or charge your commissions a lil higher.
