6x$3.3M for McCarron. As I said yesterday, this contract won’t look like much in a few years and he fills a lot of the roles when it comes to the little things the Wild’s bottom 6 has lacked.

He kills penalties, wins draws, plays physical, will fight, can play up the lineup in a pinch, forechecks well and from what I’ve heard is well-liked and respected in the locker room. Good signing here IMO. #mnwild
