A man spent 50 years teaching at MIT.
Near the end, he knew time was running out. So he recorded one final lecture, everything he learned distilled into one hour.
He passed away 5 months later.
This is that lecture. Bookmark it.

Proud to brief African Member States @AfricanUnionUN on what we delivered together in 2025 -for African people.
From turning challenges into opportunities to moving from funding to financing, @UNDP stands fully aligned with #Agenda2063 to make development investable & inclusive.
Really sad to hear. I worked alongside him in UNDP Africa crafting support for the transition from #OAU to #AU, the Africa Peer Review initiative and the Governance Forum. Laudable initiates on Africa governance which continue. A very nice man. May he rest in perfect peace.
Shocked to learn of passing of my brother, Amb. Tim Bandora. We worked together in support of #SalimAhmedSalim @ the OAU and became close friends, as did our families. He was brilliant & warm-hearted. Our thoughts are with his wife Margaret & children. May his soul rest in peace.

Proud of @UNDP’s role in supporting platforms where collective experience shapes practical, forward-looking solutions.

In yesterday's editorial, The Guardian suggests three important reforms to global governance that would help close the economic divide between the North and the South.
They are spot on: debt relief, fair climate funding and reformed trade rules to empower the South.
Northern #Gaza is under deadly siege with collapse & destruction of basic services & blockage of humanitarian relief for the besieged population. Fears that Israel will annex it outright are growing. Meanwhile many are killed & dying of preventable causes: https://t.co/sHP5jDa9Zl
Today, I feel a deep sense of pride and joy in congratulating Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway on her election as the next and 7th Secretary-General of the Commonwealth. As the first Ghanaian to hold this position, her selection speaks to the strength of her character and her dedication to service, as well as to the esteem in which our nation, Ghana, is held amongst her peers.
For years, I have watched her serve Ghana, Africa and the international community with unshakeable commitment and grace. Her work as Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration is a testament to her devotion to bridging divides and building meaningful partnerships. She carries with her a vision of inclusivity and progress that I know will inspire the Commonwealth family, and guide it towards a future of hope and unity.
To my fellow Heads of State and Government, I express my heartfelt gratitude for this resounding vote of confidence in Ghana’s candidate. In choosing her, you have placed your trust in a passionate advocate for our shared values. I am confident that, with Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway at the helm, we will see the Commonwealth flourish, standing as a beacon of cooperation and strength for its people.
I express our sincere appreciation to the outgoing Secretary-General, the Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland, KC, for her outstanding service to the Commonwealth and its organisations. We wish her God’s blessings and the best of luck in all her future endeavours. I thank also Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afe and the people and the government of this beautiful Pacific island of Samoa, for the warm hospitality extended to the Ghanaian and other delegations at this 27th CHOGM.
As Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey steps into this new chapter, I extend the unwavering support of the people of Ghana. We all look forward to the brighter, more resilient Commonwealth that she will help to build, one rooted in the values we cherish.
As outrage piles on outrage in growing conflict in Middle East, Israeli forces have now fired on United Nations 🇺🇳 peacekeepers in #Lebanon. Will US also turn a blind eye to this? This horrific conflict keeps expanding while all protagonists are resupplied https://t.co/gz3O0qnXXu
