It looks like I made it up to Psalm 68, then just stopped. It was some of my last original posts online, if you can call AI content original. That was about 580 days ago.
Easter Vigil will be celebrated by Bishop Mark Hagemoen at 9 pm Holy Saturday, April 4, live-streamed to pray live or later from the @weareholyfamily Cathedral of the Holy Family in Saskatoon: https://t.co/QyfB60nRKu
Then, further up, someone coming the opposite way signaled, pulled over, and waited for them! Then, at the 4-way stop, people just let them through again! In Saskatoon, even!
Craziest thing I ever saw.
I just witnessed the craziest thing ever.
There was a paramedic, lights & sirens going. So I pulled over and waited for them, and so did the truck behind me! Then, coming up to the traffic circle, 2 vehicles just stopped and waited for them!
Salt that has lost its flavour “is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot” (Mt 5:13). So many people feel worthless or broken. It is as if their light has been hidden. It is painful to lose flavour and give up joy; yet it is possible to have this wound in our heart.
It's become increasingly common to drag the language of faith into political battles, to bless nationalism, and to justify violence and armed struggle in the name of religion. Believers must actively refute ... these forms of blasphemy that profane the holy name of God. —Pope Leo
In Mary’s divine motherhood we see the meeting of two immense, “unarmed” realities: that of God, who renounces every privilege of his divinity to be born in the flesh (cf. Phil 2:6-11), and that of a human person who, trustingly and fully, embraces God’s will. In a perfect act of love, she offers him the greatest power she possesses: her freedom.
O KING OF THE GENTILES, the Desired One of the Nations, You are the cornerstone of the Church, uniting all peoples into one. COME and deliver us, whom You have shaped and formed from the dust of the earth. #OAntiphon
We know that even in the face of the greatest challenges, we are not alone: the Lord is near (cf. Phil 4:5), he walks with us, and with him at our side, something beautiful and joyful will always happen. — Pope Leo XIV
O KEY OF DAVID and Ruler of the House of Israel, You have the power to open the gates of the kingdoms, and no one can resist it. COME and liberate the captives from their prison-house, and lead them into freedom. #OAntiphon
O ROOT OF JESSE, Your flowering stem has been raised up as a sign to all the nations. Before You, kings shall be struck silent, and faraway people shall come to adore and beg mercy. COME and deliver us. Do not delay! #OAntiphon
O ADONAI, God of the Covenant, and King of Israel, You appeared to Moses in the flame of the burning bush, and You gave him the sacred law on Mount Sinai. COME now! With outstretched arm, redeem us! #OAntiphon
O WISDOM, all-holy Word of God, You came forth from the mouth of the Most High, and govern all creation with Your strong yet tender care, COME and teach us Your way of prudence! #OAntiphon
