@NiharPalanPT @NickHoopes_ Well said! I feel like this is how I spend my days in the clinic and patients respond well.

👉Did you know testicular cancer is the commonest cancer in 15-35 year olds?
👉Did you know if it’s caught early then it’s 99% curable?
👉Do you, or does your partner / son / friend know what to do?

#Alaska #thisisourshot

Big news - We just announced anyone 16 years or above who lives or works in Alaska can make an appointment to get a vaccinated.

The call center 1-907-646-3322 is staying open to 8 pm tonight and opens again tomorrow at 9 am or https://t.co/GtpEoSBHlA

[David Leonhardt @DLeonhardt]

The evidence so far suggests that a full vaccine dose:

1. effectively eliminates the risk of Covid death
2. nearly eliminates the risk of hospitalization
3. drastically reduces the ability to infect somebody else.

All of that is also true about the virus variants.

@LoriForner @Dr_Predictable I try to start where the are and increase variability! I look forward to hearing this discussion!

[Lori Sivitz PT @akpelvicpt]

@LoriForner @Dr_Predictable I will use the piston breath method when my patient can’t engage or isolate PFM without breath holding. I find it generally easier to increase excursion and awareness on inhale/ exhale. My goal is to get engagement on inhale exhale / breath hold and with activity.

No words...

Yesterday’s number showed 1 new case and 1 new death. Each case, each death, is a person with friends and family who they left behind or who now worry for their health. Sending peace and healing their way as we also think of all those who pass before us or suffer from illness.

@GayUncleFrank Congratulations! So proud!

[NWS Anchorage @NWSAnchorage]

We’ve seen max wind gusts up to 112 mph on the Upper Hillside! Power outages have been reported. Expect these conditions to continue through late tonight with blowing snow at the highest elevations capable of reducing visibilities. Please send us your storm reports/photos. #AKwx
