@wickedjester83@cm_jaramillo@kangaroos991 When corporations are making record profits, that means they are charging more than they need to for products and/or services. Thereby increasing inflation.
@wickedjester83@cm_jaramillo@kangaroos991 To make something abundantly clear to you, profits are what’s left after netting all your expenses against your revenues. Record profits by definition means much more revenue than expenses. See, the key word is “profit”.
@wickedjester83@cm_jaramillo@kangaroos991 Let me give you a bit of my background. I have my associates degree, bachelor’s degree, and MBA all in Accounting. I have worn every hat from staff accountant all the way to CFO. I know a thing or two about financial statements, corporate policy, and corporate planning.
@wickedjester83@cm_jaramillo@kangaroos991 You said “measure of the rate at which the general level of prices for goods and services is rising“. Corporations set the prices for goods and services. If corporations are making record profits, that means they have a lot more revenues than expenses. That’s how they’re related.
@Humblefiltersa1@DeSotoPhyllis @Meshellny78 @OccupyDemocrats It seems to me that you’re the one out of your depth. My arguments were rational and concise, yours are laced with insults. Since the sign of a weak mind is to lash-out aimlessly when threatened, having a rational discussion with you is a waste of my time.
@Humblefiltersa1@DeSotoPhyllis @Meshellny78 @OccupyDemocrats “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” In a scattered nation back then, people had to bring their own weapons to fight wars. Not applicable today.
@Humblefiltersa1@DeSotoPhyllis @Meshellny78 @OccupyDemocrats If it doesn’t apply to 1776 only, then Militia really means a National Guard. Not a bunch of trigger-happy people looking to bring arms against the United States.
@Humblefiltersa1@DeSotoPhyllis @Meshellny78 @OccupyDemocrats 2nd amendment isn’t about assault weapons either. Maybe all guns except cap and ball should be outlawed??? After all, that’s basically what they had when penning the 2nd amendment.
@DeSotoPhyllis @Meshellny78 @OccupyDemocrats I live in Alaska. You need guns up here to hunt and for protection from wildlife. I’m very pro-gun. However, no one needs an AR-15 that can hold 300 rounds and empty the clip in A matter of seconds. If you need 300 rounds to kill a moose, do me and the moose a favor and buy beef.
@chefsymon have you ever used the Ankarsrum mixer? I’ve never seen it used on any of the televised cooking shows. I bought one for my wife, and the thing seems to be amazing.
@HMCMret2001@OccupyDemocrats Around the mid 1960’s the parties swapped ideologies. Do some homework. Here, this is a good place to start. https://t.co/faVw6xz0DN
BREAKING: 4 police officers forcibly removed journalist Grant Stern for asking Kevin McCarthy a question—why he opposed the bipartisan Jan 6th Commission. This is outrageous and shouldn’t happen in America. This is what fascists do. Let’s make this viral.
@bleutabbies I think it’s because they refuse to go to the doc when they are sick. They want to think it’s just the flu or a cold and ignore it. Also, I think they don’t want to help prove how contagious this virus is. They don’t want to prove the demo the to be right.
@gmdave Aim has been mentioned to be able to disable vehicle systems, but I don’t see any rules on that. Is it house ruled? What are the rules you use? Can shooting a weapon damage it, if the weapon doesn’t have sunder? Thanks, and I never listen to the Order 66 Podcast.
