We’re aware of the delays on the highway and the park & ride. We’re waiting as long as we can to start the show, but still make curfew. Looking forward to seeing you #GARTHinEDMONTON! -Team Garth

@psblyndsay@Oil_Foundation @REMAXca @EdmontonOilers Most packs sold are A. Most people buy the best value. The people that are dropping 1000s are all buying As. Because you get so many tickets with As, even if just 2/3 packs are A, it's nearly a 90% chance for an A to be drawn. So 10 games and you might see one non A.
3/ So let's say my total 50/50 draw was $200 and half bought the $50 bundle and half bought the $20 bundle...using the previous tweets, you'd have 400 A's and only 300 B's. You're statistically going to draw an A but each ticket is still the same chance of winning @EdmontonOilers
2/ but if the pot was people who bought $20 bundles, then there was 5 people who bought them. The $20 bundles were 60 B tickets so a total of 300 B's in the pot. @EdmontonOilers #5050
1/ For those who don't understand why the @EdmontonOilers 50/50 was A again: If A was for the $50 bundle, then statistically there was more of them. If a pot has $100 then that would mean 2 people purchased the $50 bundle. The $50 bundle contains 200 tickets so there's 400 A's
@Tgetz15 Then it didn't go through. I got my numbers immediately for both games. The last game they said there's just a hold on the credit card and will be removed if you didn't get tickets
UPDATE: Due to historic, record-setting sales in the #Oilers online 50/50 presented by @REMAXca, today's draw has reached the maximum number of tickets sold & therefore the event has closed. We apologize for this inconvenience & thank all of our amazing fans for their support!
