There was this mass campaign that congress is corrupt

And the bjp got into power to punish the corrupt

I voted for bjp
My entire family did

But then no one, who was accused of corruption, was ever found guilty and sent to jail

Most accused switched parties
They are still in power

But the hate for the congress continued
It felt unreal

The brain started feeling the hate was manufactured

So much so that right or wrong didn’t matter
What mattered was whom do you hate

The right or wrong got converted to love or hate

The loved ones stopped getting asked for accountability

All the accountability was for the ones being hated

The one that was being loved was always right
And the one being hated always wrong

In all this, logic suffered
India suffered

12 years, rush to today, the influencers are asking girls to keep an airgun to keep themselves safe

Ministers are seen slapping on camera and say they are justified in slapping, people who hate opposition are defending the minister

Honest IAS officers are pushed to margins for catering to people and for not catering to the egos of ministers

The wealth concentration in the hands of a few is peaking at the expense of not sharing the fruits of apparent growth with masses

Our top institutions enjoy the least trust
Raids on political opponents is a given
And the social unity at its lowest

All because people stopped seeing right as right and wrong as wrong and started seeing things as either being done by the one they love or the one they hate

Love was always right
Asking question to the loved ones became wrong

I don’t really know what’s the way out
Our votes now might not matter
Our dissent is being called anti national

The times seem only to become bleaker

And the only way to stop it is to hold the ones you love accountable .. they are more than the ones you love.. they are the government

And a lot of change can come if the ones who love ask questions

आजच्या दिवशी, अर्थात २४ सप्टेंबर १६७४ रोजी, छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी शाक्त पद्धतीने दुसरा राज्याभिषेक केला होता. शाक्त पंथ हा अवैदिक पंथ आहे. हा शक्तीची, देवी दुर्गा वा भवानीची उपासना करणारा पंथ आहे.

या पंथाची दीक्षा घेऊन छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज शाक्त पंथाचे उपासक झाले व नंतर या पंथाचे पंडितसुद्धा झाले होते. कवी कलश सामवेदी शाखेचे ब्राह्मण असून याच पंथाचे होते. तसेच छत्रपती शिवरायांनी संभाजी महाराजांकरिता १२–१३ वर्षांचे असताना शिक्षक म्हणून ज्यांची नेमणूक केली, असे कोकणातील केशवभट्ट पंडित हे सुद्धा शाक्त होते.

केशवभट्ट व गणेश अनंत जांभेकर हे छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांचे या पंथाचे गुरू होत. या दोन शाक्त गुरूंना शिवयोगी नामक शाक्त पंडिताने दीक्षा दिली होती.

सदर शाक्त पंथ तंत्रमार्गी आहे. यात फक्त देवीची आराधना करणे मुख्य असते..

वर्ण-जातीभेद मानणे, स्त्रीला कमी लेखणे, स्त्रीनिंदा करणे हे घोर पाप मानले जाते. अतिशय कडवट स्त्रीवादी उपासना पंथ म्हणून हा ओळखला जातो.

वेरूळच्या महान भोसले घराण्यात देवीची भक्ती आधीपासूनच होती; परंतु छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज व छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज यांच्या काळात देवीचा पंथ स्वीकारला गेला आणि याला महाराष्ट्रात मोठा राजाश्रय मिळाला.

हा राज्याभिषेक ६ जून १६७४ रोजी झालेल्या वैदिक राज्याभिषेकानंतर साडेतीन महिन्यांनी करण्यात आला.

सदर राज्याभिषेक इ. स. १६७४ मध्ये २४ सप्टेंबर रोजी, ललिता पंचमी म्हणजेच आश्विन शु. ५ या तिथीला झाला. तसेच पुढे छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांनीसुद्धा याच ललिता पंचमीला राज्याभिषेक केला होता.

ललिता पंचमी ही तिथी देवी मानणाऱ्या पंथात प्रचंड महत्त्वाची व शुभ मानली जाते. घटस्थापनेच्या पाचव्या दिवशी ही ललिता पंचमी येते. म्हणजेच छत्रपती शिवरायांनी हा राज्याभिषेक नवरात्र पर्वात केला आहे. नवरात्र हा उत्सव सप्तसिंधूच्या भूमाता निऋतीच्या कन्या देवी दुर्गेचा प्राचीन सण आहे. भारतीय लोकपरंपरा व लोकसंस्कृतीत नवरात्र हा अतिशय जुन्या काळापासून साजरा केला जाणारा उत्सव आहे. संपूर्ण भारतात हा उत्सव विविध रीतीने साजरा होतो.

हा राज्याभिषेक झाल्यानंतर छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज जेव्हा दक्षिण दिग्विजयाला जातात, तेव्हा ते दक्षिणेतील श्रीशैल या मातृदेवतेच्या ठिकाणी जातात. येथे ‘श्री’ म्हणजे देवी. देवी वा स्त्री ही आद्य आहे. तिचीच आद्यपूजा आपल्या संस्कृतीत होते, कारण ती जन्मदात्री आहे; ती प्रकृती आहे. या प्रकृतीपासूनच ही सृष्टी निर्माण झाली आहे. मराठवाड्यात आजही तुळजाभवानीची जी आरती म्हणतात, त्यात — “पहिली आरती मानाची ग माझे माय” अशी सुरुवात आहे.

सदर ठिकाण प्राचीन काळापासून तंत्रपीठ व तंत्रयोगिनीचे क्षेत्र मानले जाते. तसेच या क्षेत्रास स्त्रीराज्य म्हटले जाते. गुरू गोरक्षनाथ, मच्छिंद्रनाथ, चक्रधर, बसवेश्वर, अक्कमहादेवी यांनीसुद्धा या श्रीक्षेत्रास जाऊन साधना केली आहे. तसेच येथे कौल, कापालिक, शैव, शाक्त, बौद्ध, जैन आदी सिद्ध तांत्रिक दर्शनाला येत व येथील मातृदेवतेच्या योगिनीकडून तंत्रसाधना समजून घेत.

प्रख्यात बौद्ध आचार्य अश्वघोष, नागार्जुन, दिग्नागसुद्धा येऊन गेल्याचे उल्लेख आहेत. अशा मातृदेवतेच्या ठिकाणी छत्रपती शिवराय दर्शन घेऊन अब्राह्मणी परंपरेतील प्राचीन आध्यात्मिक महापुरुषांचा वारसा चालवतात. ही निश्चितच महान बाब आहे.

छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांना या पंथाच्या शिकवणीमुळे प्रगाढ स्त्रीवादी दृष्टिकोन प्राप्त झाला. याचीच परिणती पुढे त्यांनी येसूबाईंना राज्याची कुलमुखत्यारी देण्यात केली. त्यांना “श्री सखी राज्ञी जयती” ही उपाधी देऊन आपल्या गैरहजेरीत प्रतीराजा म्हणून नेमणूक केली.

छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज व छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांनी शाक्त पंथाकडे जाऊन प्राचीन सप्तसिंधूच्या स्त्रीसत्ताक, मातृसत्ताक, अब्राह्मणी संस्कृतीचा वारसा पुन्हा भारतभूमीवर नव्या स्वरूपात देऊन प्रफुल्लित केला.

आजच्या या शाक्त राज्याभिषेकाच्या सर्वांना मनःपूर्वक शुभेच्छा!

If crimes could be ranked, this is among the worst possible. How coldly calculative and cruel one must be to do this? This is not a crime of passion or rage or whipped up hatred or even entrenched patriarchy. This is purely a crime of inhumanity.

And the amazing part is that this horrible, unimaginable crime is just a news footnote in our ‘greatest civilisation on the planet’. The systems will make sure this keeps happening because the bureaucracy-politician-capital-media nexus incentivises lack of morality.

Corruption is not an issue anymore because everyone understands (and even respects) this basic human urge to hoard, to make more money. We even celebrate the top 15-20 billionaires of the nation as some sort of beacons of our culture and pride.

But what gets missed in this razzle-dazzle is that corruption is not just someone making extra money by bending rules - it also means those bent rules KILL people. In building fires, collapses, fake cancer medicines, adulterated foods, drunk driving, and a hundred other ways.

Corruption actually means someone making money by murdering people, murdering us.
