ha ha great. my kids’ school district (53k+ students) just decided 5 minutes ago that actually, they’d like to take this Friday off too. . . just move the school day to the end of the year. . .

school transportation department the night before 1st day of school: oh wait no there’s no bus drivers—your kid will get picked up 2 hrs late

@lestans bus driver does a route, then starts your route because there’s a massive shortage. they basically suggested finding alternative transportation for the first few weeks
